Mike's cousin came for the weekend. It was lovely, I met her from the station and after a trip to the Oxfam bookshop we sat outside in Leamington having a long lazy lunch followed by a walk in the park and a sit down for another long chat.
Saturday we all went to Packwood House which Mike and I love. (NT Elizabethan property) We walked in the gardens there, it was super-hot! There is a yew garden there which is impressive. The house is quite small inside - we loved the Delft tiled bathroom.
Afterwards we went to The Orange Tree for a drink followed by dinner at home and more late night chat and photo sharing.
Sunday we all went to church and then we had Sunday lunch at ours along with Lizzy's parents. They brought me a hibiscus which is good to watch as it only opens one flower at a time.
It was great to catch up over the weekend and get to know Lizzy better.
