Scotland Trip

We drove up last Wednesday evening through some fantastic lightning...it's great on the motorway when that happens as you get to see the whole
expanse across the sky.

On Thursday we slept late at my parents' house, had porridge and then walked up The Whangie (aka Queens View) with views to Loch Lomond.
It has been a while since we have walked here and the weather was perfect for it. We saw scottish harebells and watched the swallows swooping around.
Afterwards we went on to Balmaha, stood on the shore of the loch and popped into The Oak Tree for a quick drink before heading home.
