I haven't blogged, read other or hardly even given thought to keeping up to date. The last few months have been a whirlwind of busyness and now it is September already. The next few posts will catch things up.
April was our fabulous Italy trip, pictures to follow. I adored Venice particularly. I cried on the Rialto bridge. It was magical actually being there having read about this place for years in Marlena De Blasi's book.
Loved the Guggenheim, to sit there on the balcony and watch the world go by on the Gran Canal is fantastic. We went to Florian, of course, for prosecco and salmon sandwiches. Divine and worth every penny. It was a lovely experience.
Didn't find the best places to eat dinner in Venice compared to my trips to Tuscany but the beauty of the place made up for that and the ice cream was as good as always.
Came home and read "Carneval" which was interesting.
