We had a weekend in Frankfurt ("Mainhatten") The train trip from Aschaffenburg to Frankfurt was good.
We walked into Sachenhausen the first night and saw the spitting hausfrau - good fun! We ate ice cream and watched the world go by. The football was on so it was lively.
We walked around the city, into squares, by fountains, tasted apfelwein in a few places, looked at churches and skyscrapers. We went on a riverboat cruise which was good and then we went up Main Tower to view the city.
Also we went to the Jewish Museum which was very good (nice mint tea and apple cake)
We enjoyed the time we had there but would not particularly choose to go back to Frankfurt. I think we saw pretty much everything we wanted to.
